Following on from Phil's stern warning thread, I thought it might be interesting (!) to see how many user names we've all had through the years.
As far as my memory allows for, I've only ever used this one, going back 19/20 years over a few iterations of the forum. |  |

I tried a couple of variations on the Bury/blue theme many years ago with a name-change intention. Those were on previous versions of the site and got taken up as the site moved over.
I didn't want to incorporate 'tractor' anywhere as I didn't want to sound like some countryside simpleton.
There was one other that was a bit of a miscalculation in judgement although did serve a brief purpose at the time. Again, years ago, possible over 12 years or so. |  |

Pre 2001 I was WilnecoteBlue which was where I lived. Moved to Lagos and someone suggested BlueLagos as apparently it was a aftershave in the 70s.
Given I get called Laggers or Lagos seemed silly to change it when I next moved. Wouldn't even know how to change it now tbf.
Does make me laugh when people assume it is the Portuguese Lagos. Did go there briefly, quite a nice place but it's got no suya spots so will never compare. |  |

Been through a few. Mostly back in the early days when you didn't need an account and just typed your name each post. Been Selly Oak Blue or SOB, then Tooting Blue. Can't remember for sure, but I might have been Carshalton Blue too. My usernames were never too creative!
Wasn't posting much when accounts became compulsory so I don't think I bothered for many years, then finally came back as Crayon King a few years ago when the urge to vent about the state of the club got too strong! |  | | |
