Somebody should organise a bash a pan for a proper pay rise public show of support.

As it's Christmas, baubles.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Many thanks for the Salutations and greetings of the season, Ryorrers. I fear it says a lot about my night last night that I'm only just seeing them!

At 7 this morning, me and my mate were juggling 3 patients needing ITU and 1 ITU bed, it's been fun!

Baubles to the Tories!

Is 'pan' a slang term for 'Tory MP'?

Wow - hope you've now managed to get some rest, food & booze in. It's the good nature of yourself & your colleagues who are keeping the NHS going. As I've said before, if I could be a benevolent dictator, I'd swap round the salaries of NHS workers on less than £60K p/a with those of MPs; things might then change.

My apols to Phil, Gav & Mark for dodging round the swear filter, exceptional circs. To anyone else upset by the word (or the political slant), those things are on here several times a day usually, just with one or two letters re-arranged/subbed with asterisks, so I don't see any real difference, and its not as though the subject header is inviting to kids.

I'm now off till the 28th. Dinner, prosecco, Wherry, trifle and a nice Portuguese Red have now been consumed. Will probably stop soon as its mother's 70th birthday tomorrow.

If you're struggling to catch your breath, as a healthcare professional, I wouldn't recommend a walk around your nearest village green.

"the bloke" was not endorsing Clarkson, stop misrepresenting what I said. I made it quite clear that I also disliked Markle, but I would NOT have used the words that Clarkson used.

There is no pattern here, it's all in your head.

No you didn't. You made it clear he shouldn't have said it not because you disagreed but because of the place, when challenged you dipped after claiming I misquoted you which was wrong then and still is now.

Seems you do this usual thing of "misrepresentation" and acting wounded after crossing a line, odd how so many people spotted it last night too but its not you, it's us....

Fair play to him, all the rest of the low-level KGB troll factory employees took the day off. Not this 'I 'm just playing devil's advocate' lad. He kept on plugging away at his 'destabilise the west with right wing trolling' stuff, even on Christmas day.

Fair play to you, lad.
