The team coach 14:47 - Oct 30 with 5706 viewstextbackup

After the game we walked around for some time, found a locals pub, then passed the stadium en route back to the station.
This was probably an hour plus after the final whistle, and the coach was only just leaving.

I would imagine there was a few truths dished out and some bo11ockings

Edit - apparently this is normal so ta

Sam Morsy was still doing press until just before six, straight after Kieran Mc, so not necessarily. They had to wait for the Charlton player and manager to do theirs first.

There always late leaving nowadays after warm down ,press, etc.

With all the press and warm down etc it’s probably the norm, was no ‘lock in’ as such.

The away coach is usually still behind Churchmans when we leave Beatties at 6 for home games.

Ah fair enough. I must say I’ve never taken much notice before, but remember seeing it leave pretty sharpish a few years back.

As other have said, warm down etc these days are probably very strenuous too

They're usually doing a fair bit of that while we're doing post-match, which is often at the side of the pitch in this division.

I thought the warm down started after Morsy scored

I think it might have been keogh that said the players that are unused have a really high intense training/warm down so that they also have the following day off as a rest day, to them keep the whole squad in sync with one another.

I initially read "Morsy ... doing press until just before 6" as "Morsy ... doing press-ups until just before 6" but that's probably because of the nature of the man.

They also need time for a quick fag, as they're not allowed to smoke on the coach.

Judging by how shocked we looked I think we’d started the ice baths.

I’d say the coach leaving and hour after the game is par for the course. Nothing to see here. The team post mortem / game analysis will have happened either today or Monday …

Normally a good hour or so afterwards as the norm is my understanding.

We did the same. Had a couple of pints then back on the train where Freddie and Jackson were both there going their separate ways. They didn’t sit with each other which I found a little odd. Both were not looking happy at all obviously.

Judging by what I’ve seen in Instagram and the like, it might have been a fairly empty coach back. Imagine the players have a few days off - Burns is in Paris for example

We were in the same pub, stood outside the front in the end. Like you say, full of home fans. Brilliant day though.
