Also, reading this article is painful - using colloquialisms like 'fiddling the books' was disturbing. Easy to see how quickly people can reach a dim view of someone before conviction when less than objective language is used. What irritates me is the number of post masters who were backed into a corner to take a plea bargain as the cards were stacked against them. | |
