Apparently the live stream shut down at sunset (21.26 BST) but will resume at sunrise 04:52 BST (or maybe a bit before). Which considering the amount of daylight with which to watch right now, seems fair enough ...

They had "tech issues" on fb, but were going fine on youtube for sunrise up till 5am, just a shame about the poor weather - no sun.

To be clear, did you try to watch live from 21.00-21.30? (I didn't). Or were you hoping they'd try to capture something of the shortest night atmos by leaving a remote camera running when you posted at 23.13?

Pass some of that rain up to us here please, we haven't had anything except a couple of 1-minute light dustings for several weeks now & I'm fed up with watering.

Was light enough to go outside without a torch at 3.30am here, rather lovely.

Fond memories of living on the Orkney Islands with a clear view of the horizon all round, the sun barely dipped below it & sunset/sunrise merged into each other at this time of year.
