My early contender for one of the albums of the year - Algiers - There Is No Year. As usual, for those of you who have never checked them out, its Gil Scott Heron linking up with the Clash with a back tones of Blues, Gospel and Soul digging away at the underbelly of Trumps America. Perhaps more mainstream than previous albums but still almighty wonderous.

I only found out this week that Max Cooper had put an album out late last year. Been burning that on the commute.
