Heard from a very well placed source (can’t give details) that Troy Parrott is close to signing on loan.

Decent young striker.

As per an earlier query, surely its Lambert and not ONeill and Evans who are deciding on transfer dealings, therefore Lambert is being given a window to sort things out?!?! and thus he's not going anywhere!

Surely Marcus wouldn't be sanctioning transfers if Lambert is going; or is the striker need and the candidate being seen as manager neutral. Lets hope its this.

I'd guess that ME still hasn't made up his mind to make the change even though he's sounding out other managers. If things turn around then PL will stay - as would Paul Hurst if he'd have continued to win after the stay of execution following the Swansea victory - but if not then the change will come. I think you're right re the striker situation, I assume they think whoever will eventually be the manager will need another body up front.

My gut feel is that if this guy comes in, then Lambert may be being given several months to turn this around.

As I stated the other day, the Sunderland and Crewe performances were really not that bad, and it was not a team that had 'given up' on their manager - its the toothless nature in the final third that is the glaring issue. Perhaps Marcus thinks this new striker PLUS the Preston loanee returning from Covid can be a catalyst.

I just can't believe the dressing room is as poisonous as some state, and we're seeing Marcus to continue to back his man!

Phil - Is Josh Harrop back for Blackpool?? also why was Dobra missing Staurday??

Questions questions.

Phil, if the Parrott story is correct that makes 4 loans. McGuinness, Thomas, Harrop and Parrott.

How many can start?

As I said above Herbivore this transfer does not smack of a manager about to pull the trigger. As so many are convinced is imminent.

Parrot plus Harrop throw number 15 of the Lambert dice.

Does Blackpool now become the MUST WIN game (number 678 under Marcus)?

We also have Bennetts as well. I think you can have 5 loanees in the match day sqaud, although can and should are very different things.
