I *think* we went to proper places and not just corner shops, but my memory is hazy and I just fancied a chance to give my brilliant accent an outing. One thing that was very true was that the locals often liked our accents and the fact we came from London (not the Uk). The well-spoken black guy's accent who was in our party seemed to blow their mind in particular.

As I have already said I really don't consider bitch to be a particularly nasty word. In fact it and its twin 'bitchy' is term used by women towards women all the time, they don't seem to be overly offended by it so I don't see why you or anyone else should be.
I personally think telling everyone who will listen you want privacy then going on Oprah whilst your other halfs grand father is in hospital is indeed bitchy and thus qualifies. If the shoe fits. Many of my female friends and indeed the other half agree she is indeed.

I mean why can’t people quite reasonably hold the view that MM ha been treated appallingly by sections of the a British press who obviously have an agenda based on MM being a person of colour, but at the same time takes seriously claims of her bullying by a former member of her staff and be open to the possibility that she may be another spoiled Hollywood luvvie who is used to getting her own way.
The two views aren’t mutually exclusive.
Oh and as an afterthought, if I was in conflict with my family but my grandfather was seriously ill in hospital, I might consider that now would not be the time to air a series of television interviews in which I aired my grievances and respectfully put said programs on hold until Gramps had recovered.
