They can't say anything without the approval of the owners. All their previous somewhat embarrassing pontifications were designed to maximise season ticket sales and get some punters and money in. Job done.

I could be wrong, but I suspect they may be regretting buying a rotting carcass with their borrowed money - when they could perhaps have invested other peoples' money in Cambridge United - currently just two points off second place
