Just looking at the Sunderland timeline on twitter, and its fair to say they are not confident at all. Funnily enough, ive seen a fair few of their fans complaining about never being able to beat a top 6 side, which sounds very familiar. Also, apparently their last 3 performances have been awful, and they are calling it a 'must win' game if they are to be promoted. You could switch Ipswich for Sunderland and the above wouldn't look out of place.

Their fans are as tired as we are!!
I do think they have a decent manager in Parkinson.

He wouldn't have set our pulses racing if he'd been offered to us. Anyway, TWTD tells me that our failing to beat higher-placed teams is a "hoodoo", so what can you do? And there was me foolishly entertaining the idea that it might just have been down to the fact that they were better than us.
