We missed judge today , who gets slated on here , but our best midfielder by a country mile

In all honest I would say they were really not that much different. Lambert's final run of form was a false positive, with a good pinch of luck. Besides, those were Lambert's players for his system, we have yet to see loan or perma signing from Cook. | |

Yes, I really miss those halcyon Lambert days of that thrilling 0-0 with Northampton and that exciting game with Swindon when we made the score respectable. Cant tell you how much I miss watching Charlton beat us out of sight at home without breaking sweat. All topped off with post match drivel. Happy memories.

We have been marginally worse under Cook but there's not much in it. Of course, everyone, Cook included would have expected and wanted a much better impact than what he's delivered.
There is no benefit in getting rid now however, we have to hope that with whoever the CEO becomes that between them they can build a good enough squad of players. I think they actually have a pretty decent core here already but our fans at the moment are so desperate not to blame Cook after having blamed Lambert solely for the past 3 years and correctly too - that I dont think people recognise our squad on paper is stronger than most of the division. | | | |
