I think Starmer is right here, it is a government failure. The fact we are now going to be forced into tier 3 and made to do it without help is going to further drive a wedge between the North and South isn't it?

Completely agree, except for the "getting what they deserve" bit. I'm frustrated as hell that so many people voted Tory, but nobody deserves hardship for putting their trust in the wrong people.

Very forgiving of you. I'll give a free pass to those who didn't know what they were doing and got sucked in by the lies. But for those that still slavishly defend this bunch of charlatans, I've nothing but the utmost contempt. They are defending an inside attack on the country, it's laws and social norms. There's a word for that kind of behaviour.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

What they deserve; is a moot point.

Certainly not the children of those voters but it was not like there were no warning signs.

We aren't talking about some reliable old chap who suddenly ups and has it away with the social club funds.

Johnson has been an habitual liar all his adult life, and has a history of failure that would shame even Eddie the Eagle. So was that put aside, because he told them he already had a deal with the EU. And they so wanted that to be true.

These people bought into a political view of taking personal responsibility.

Well, now is their chance to follow that through. Accept the damage they have caused, and then ask themselves what was the real motive behind wanting brexit.

Because the real reasons behind brexit are being seen all too clearly in the actions of this bunch of odious Tories.

Basically, fck you.... it's too late now
