In his Telegram account, Robinson said: "Sentenced to prison for journalism. Time for protests to start."
The crowd marched towards the Old Bailey chanting "we want Tommy out" before some began pelting police with bottles and cans.
Inciting the crowd already. Journalism indeed.

This country is far too soft on terrorists and hate preachers. I’d have the lot in front of a judge and Stephen charged with incitement and everything else they can take him for.
You'd like to think Christmas behind bars without his kids would make him see sense. I'm sure it won't though.
His supporters will probably be too busy frothing at the mouth over Tesco's Christmas advert featuring Muslims while 'our Tommy' sits in a cell to work out that he's a massive c unit.

Time already served is to be taken into account, so he's only going to serve 19 weeks and be out in half of that. He'll only be in for the school holidays. Still, a lot can happen with a soap on a rope in the showers in 8 weeks.
I'd throw the book at the little scrote, as Mullersdinho said.

If you look what he actually done....and take into context the punishment other journalists have received for the same offence....they have thrown the book at him.

They take past offending history and other mitigating factors into account.

He's not a journalist so can we drop that line right now before it takes off.

"Other journalists". He's not a journalist. Contempt of court can carry a prison sentence of 2 years, so it's within normal guidelines.
What real journalists have been charged with contempt of court; I've genuinely no idea?

1) Which other 'journalists' have knowingly endangered child abuse cases? 2) They've 'thrown the book at him'(they haven't, he'll likely serve 9 weeks) because he's a repeat offender at this who was under suspended sentence for exactly the same thing. 3) Stop defending people who are knowingly trying to ruin paedophile trials.
Far right protesters blocking the road and chanting for Tommy Robinson outside parliament. He was jailed today for contempt of court. One placard reads “I am not far-rightâ€, which is usually a decent indicator of being far right. pic.twitter.com/wSSkILqYZy

They’re now massed outside the gates to parliament, blocking Parliament Square. They’re now singing “Soubry is a Nazi,†for some reason. Shouts of “traitors in thereâ€.

I'd ship the whole bloody lot of them, brown and white to a remote Scottish Island where they can happily hate-F*ck each other to their heart's content and stop making decent folk's life pointlessly worse.
I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

The frustration is real when a lot of work is done, sometimes over many months and years and they are ‘let-off’ on a technicality.
SYL and Katie Hopkins are just two on watchlists normally considered for ‘traditional’ terrorism suspects and the sooner people of that ilk are jailed for their racism and islamophobia the better.
'The gang of sexual predators that raped and abused children as young as 11 years old might still be walking the streets of Yorkshire following the recklessness of far-right activist Stephen Yaxley-Lennon.' https://t.co/pj9JIHWnIO

Guilty of contempt of court, twice. Endangering cases against pedos. Cases that are following the rule of English law, something you would have thought the pr1ck is all for. But we know what really behind his actions, don't we.

Like who, and what? EDIT: And he's not a journalist ffs.
they have thrown the book at him.
No they haven't.
Crunchers, we probably agree on as much as we disagree politically, but on the Tommy Robinson point you have a massive blind spot, and you're in very, very poor company here.
