How old do you reckon it is? 8 could be Skuse.

I thought around 10 years but im not really sure. The metal doesn't look too old.

8 could be short enough for Skuse but im not sure.

Who last played with the shirt number 47 for us?

It's about 15/16 or 16/17

Smith is 5, Berra, 6, Skuse 8, Douglas 22

Should be realtively easy to work most of the rest out

No. 3 looks to be J. Knudsen

Edit... I was beaten to it!

Malarczyk signature is on the bottom next to Skuse's. That would make it the 15/16 season.

Is it just me or is it a bit sad to see players autographs just dumped and forgotten about these days.

I remember while I was 15-16 and started playing men's football and I had a really good season, so our manager who was well connected arranged to have Mick Stockwell come down and see me and a signed photo and all that, as he was my favourite player at the time as a reward for how well i'd done (he was very old school with the kids) and I still have it, as with subsequent players and managers from that era - I wouldn't dream of discarding them.

It certainly is.

I am content with my autograph collection incorporating the players and staff from 1961/62 and loads of signed photos by some of the footballing goods and greats of the early to mid 1960's.

Also several ITFC players acquired over the following 50 years or so.

Remember when we had good players playing for us in the Championship?

I have it in commission, to comfort the feeble-minded, and to support the weak. You must needs go along with us; we will wait for you, we will lend you our help, we will deny ourselves of some things, both opinionated and practical, for your sake; we will not enter into doubtful disputations before you, we will be made all things to you, rather than you shall be left behind

When I was playing american football for Colchester Gladiators, a kid with his dad approached me after a game for my signature. He handed me a pen and a used paper plate with ketchup smeers on it. I knew I had reached my peak at that moment. Got a feeling the plate never made it outside the ground.

On a similar note. My dad worked nights at a hotel in chelmsford in the period when Porridge the film was being made at Chelmsford prison. The cast were known as the animals and all stayed at the hotel except for Ronnie Barker and Richard Beckinsale who they brought in from Brentwood each day. The cast were crazy and shut off one of the roads to play cricket and also stole someones moped and put it above the hotel entrance porch.

He got he a section of the film schedule with loads of signatures on it but I cannot make out who's signature they are or if any are the main cast or secondary characters.
