From the club’s point of view it’s entirely possible that Marcus Evans is the only person that has any real awareness of what is going on, from a deal point of view no one else needs to even know. A few will have been involved in putting together the data room, but I don’t even think those at board level would necessarily know.
If Evans is keeping his cards close to his chest the people that are best placed to have some insight, and be most likely to leak will be in the buyer’s side.
No one will be waiting for funds to move on completion, their solicitors will already be in funds and if the banks are closed they will have given an undertaking to send it on Tuesday, which is as good as having sent the purchase money already. | | | |

I was talking about people at the club in the post and my info hasn't come from people at the club.
Always scope for sources being wrong but mine have been good on this so far. Things like ME wanting to keep part of Bent Lane were shown to be correct from the Land Registry searches. I was told it had stalled and on the timescale which was originally outlined it would have been done by now. | | | |

I agree to a point but it’s also true that if we didn’t have Chambo we would need to get someone like him in ASAP. 2 new CB this summer though with Chambo floating around as back up in a couple of positions and as cover for the inevitable 18 month injury one of our new signings will surely incur. |  |

Yes, I think most of the squad will go and PC will bring in his own men. Squad will be much smaller so that ought to free up some cash to help bring players in, although there are going to be loads of frees in this division this summer. |
We need a massive clear out with almost all (I would keep Bishop) out of contract players and loans going.
But we don't need 15 in Phil as that is what caused this issue in the first place.
We have plenty of young players to make up the numbers/bench, likes of McGavin, El Miz, Dobra, Baggot, we just need 4 or 5 QUALITY signings to address the issues in the first 11.
This is L1, we will be in L1 next year (no chance of winning the playoffs even if we make it) your bench should mostly be kids.
