Wigan want Sam Morsy back - Alan Nixon on 21:09 - May 15 by portmanking | I don't really see where you're going with all this. Success doesn't make a club 'big', does it? It just makes them.... successful. Are Forest Green as big as us now that we're in the same league? |
If Sam Morsy would prefer to play in front of packed houses every other week, and put up with all the pressure that goes with it. Then he will choose to stay at Ipswich. But on the other hand, if he would prefer success without aggravation, then surely he would have to choose Wigan. People may not be aware that since the turn of the centuy Wigan as been by far the most successful EFL club. That fact may be for a certain few, so-called "BIG clubs". A bit hard to swallow, but the facts don't lie. 4 outright promotions, 8 consequative seasons in the prem, 2 major domestic cup finals (winning one) 1 charity shield appearance, a season flying the flag in Europe. And one season fighting against admin, And for good measure winning that fight as well. A potential sleeping giant, or a tinpot club watched by 3 men and a dog. (deserved sarcasm). It's up to you Sam. | |
