Kaepernick has extreme views, he wants to abolish Police and Prisons for example. Read up too much on him isn't a good idea as it will only reinforce , in too many, the belief that it is all political.

Same here. Punching racists is always the correct reaction. Always
I don’t think I’m saying it’s correct as I am not sure it is. I just don’t understand why anyone would think it’s an over reaction. Or start lecturing about possible prison sentences for ABH. Strange.

We need Newcy to verify the correct action to take.

"American Football quarterback Colin Kaepernick sat on the bench during the US national anthem to protest against police brutality and racism in a pre-season game on 26 August 2016.
Kaepernick said at the time: "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of colour."
He discussed his motivations with Nate Boyer, a military veteran and former National Football League (NFL) player, who advised him to kneel because he thought it was more "respectful"."
Spruce has made a post on the Gareth Southgate thread if you care.
Then, if you care some more, do a little reading. If you really don't understand then put yourself out there and do something about that.
Maybe start with the odd classic, Uncle Tom's Cabin, To Kill A Mockingbird.
Watch '12 Years' if you want something made more recently for the screen...
Learn about the Slave Trade and how human beings were treated as property by rich white folk, how their lives were meaningless to their 'owners', how girls and women were systematically raped, how men, women and children were tortured and beaten.
But those are the obvious examples, there is so much material available and there is no excuse.
Read some Benjamin Zephaniah for a taste of what is was like for black people here in the UK in the 50s, 60s, 70s.
The social issues throughout the 80s, 90s and to this day all stem from that.
Make an effort before making stupid comments trying to defend some racist knobs booing anti-racism at football matches and belittling the murder of a black man at the hands of the authorities who are employed and paid to protect all citizens.
George Floyd's demise isn't what started this or any movement. It's an extension of a protest that began in the 1800s and became stronger throughout the 1900s.
Have you never heard of Martin Luther King? Rosa Parks? *
Don't tell people to 'chill' whilst making offensive comments which you clearly have no appreciation of.

Absolutely
I don't think that millionaires Marcus Rashford or Raheem Stirling want to defund the police or overthrow capitalism, or any other things that the BLM movement has been accused of - they just want to speak up about, and show solidarity with, people being given a hard time simply because of the colour of their skin. It's that's what people are booing.

Thank you Judge John Deed. In the meantime I reiterate; it’s very very weird for me to hear people say punching racists is an over reaction. I cannot understand this scolding perspective.
person on the internet says he wants to punch people and gets up arrows from other people on the internet. keyboard warriors unite, your internet personas are truly righteous and awesome.
And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

My partner was racially abused while walking on a high street and responded by following the culprit down the road kicking them at every opportunity. On another occasion she was abused while working as a waitress and gave the customer a bloody lip.
Amongst the most impressive things she's done IMO.

we are just making wild assumptions are we? ok! here's mine, it's probably as accurate as yours!
person living comfortable life in Suffolk village dispenses his boomer wisdom from on high despite going weeks at a time without even seeing a person of colour let alone interacting with one (unless obtaining some kind of service). never crosses his mind he might not find all the answers he seeks in spiked or anorak magazine.
his internet persona is a weird one, moans non-stop about the forum, contributes next to nothing himself, but keeps coming back. can only assume this is the only form of human contact he has access to, people in real life maybe give him a miss?
never mind though, hopefully our correspondent north of the border will be back soon and can tell you what to think.

If people want to truly understand the impact of racism in America, research between 1865 and the civil rights movement. The common understanding of the civil rights movement is that this was the moment millions of americans finally got their rights, in fact they just got back their rights from 100 years prior, it wasn't progress, it was effectively just getting back to the starting line.
Read up on the only violent coup to succeed on American soil in Wilmington, Delaware where a mostly black city council was arrested and replaced by a white one.
Read up on how it's possible that the first black senators were elected in 1870 and 1875, yet there'd only be 2 more until Barrack Obama in 2005.
Read up on the "Tulsa Race Riots" where white mobs ransacked the "Black Wall Street" over the course of 48 hours murdering hundreds and destroying the community. Read up on how the city authorities then sought to prevent and frustrate the rebuilding of this community. Read up on the fact that there are mass graves still unexcavated from this event.
Read up on redlining, how banks, governments and financial institutions zoned according to race and made it nearly impossible for black families to access credit and locked them out of 'affluent' (I.e white) neighbourhoods. A situation that amplified economic inequality as millions of working class white americans became suburban home owners off the backs of generous government backed loans, while black families were shut out.
Learn about the lost cause myth and the eulogising of the South. How they attempted to rewrite the cause of the civil war and to detract from slavery. How the ruling planter class of the south were able to reassume power through terror and violent suppression of former slaves through the KKK and strip the rights they earned in the civil war off of them once more. How they erected thousands of statues of traitors and rebels to reimpose themselves and repress what were by then firmly second class citizens again.
Look up the film "Birth of a Nation" extolling the KKK as virtuous warriors protecting the South from the rapist and degenerate African americans (actually white actors in black face) and union soldiers. Look up that it was privately screened for the president at the White House. Look up how it was one of the most commercially successful movies at the time.
There's so much to choose from if people want to understand the systemic racism and inequality, rampant in America. Colin Kaepernick and George Floyd are just the latest chapters in a centuries long horror story.

I'm one of those keyboard warriors who is happy to punch racists every time. I consider it a zero tolerance to racist approach. If someone could add that link of Stephen yaxley getting slapped it would be much appreciated?

Point of order: That second clip is a forearm smash, not a punch. I am going to have to sentence you to a search of the internet looking for bona fide clips of fascists getting punched...
By way of compensation here is a clip of Nazis getting kicked out of Milan and some fascists being strung up:

Correct. Idiots boo and idiots throw punches. Two wrongs don’t make a right.
Both sets of idiots will believe they are within their rights to take the action they do. They are both wrong but if you have to point the finger of blame at one group it has to be the group that over reacts to the booing.
Leave it to the stewards to deal with those booing it isn’t your problem to solve.
So wait, if we punch a racist that's booing players taking the knee, we're the issue? How you figure that? Three words trigger so many blatant and closet racists. People use the marxism/political stance as an excuse to continue being racist bell ends. The longer the booing goes on the longer they'll continue to take the knee.
No disrespect to the stewards but they aint gonna do anything and from my personal experience it's much more easier and satisfying to deal with it yourself.
As for the original post, it will deffo be Milwall they did it when the crowds were back last season against Derby.
