Mine is that Rio Ferdinand was not that good of a defender, he was just lucky with who he played alongside (Terry, Vidic)

Disagree (I know this is the point of the thread.)
Extra time is boring enough as it is because teams don’t take risks, if they go into it knowing that one mistake will definitely dump them out, they’ll be even more conservative. |  |

Extra time is boring enough as it is because teams don’t take risks, if they go into it knowing that one mistake will definitely dump them out, they’ll be even more conservative. |
Maybe make extra time like the set deciders in tennis then, we have to get to an aggregate ten goals before one team scores two on the trot to give a clear two goal advantage ? |  |
