Shape?
Only reason I ask is that driving home last night, we saw a tall vertical cylinder/chain like something in the sky. It was a good size - far bigger than the small planes that come into our local airfield, and completely the wrong shape anyway. This was in the vertical plain, not too high up, very thin, slightly thicker (or protuberances) at the top, maybe at the bottom too. It's the weirdest thing I've seen, and yeah it gives you the heebie jeebies. [Post edited 24 Sep 2021 12:51]

That was my firs thought, but it was travelling in an arc and the 'bright' moments weren't consistent in timing and many different shades of intensity. | |
