Yep, he sounded much less stressed than previous weeks. He spoke to ME yesterday so sounds like he has been given ME's backing.
Said earlier, couldn't understand why people were so certain he would be gone this week.

Lambert sounding very jovial post match interview. A big change in his demeanour. Can only be thst he’s heard something to his liking perhaps ?
1) He’s not being sacked as Evans had bought into his spin- again.
2) He has agreed a favourable severance package.
3) Evans had told him he’s sold the Club and the new owners will pay up his contract , as they have their manager lined up .
All in all he goes away happy and a lot richer for being a total loser. Sounds like normal life events doesn’t it ..... |  |

He could say to Lambert that he can go on gardening leave or manage until the end of the season but either way he is gone so therefore hits that clause. The season is over for us now so it doesn't make much difference. If he went on gardening leave it would be a good chance to see how Dyer would do. |
