Smiths used to do Oxo flavored crisps. The amount of Oxo on each crisp was far from uniform, and the ones that were covered were fantastic.

Forgive me for steering this briefly to another savoury snack..Are they still selling the KP salt 'n' vinegar peanuts ? I became addicted to them before I left the shores and now I'm thinking about them again it's killing me.

With you all the way on this. Ahhh, the little blue bag! Sighs crisps. My fave though was Golden Wonder. The king of crisps. A poem in a bag…. Ahh happy days.
The only flavour that made any sort of grade in adult life was Walkers beef and onion - many years back. Had a bit recovery for a short while a few years ago but didn’t last. Still, a crisp to delight the senses and soak up the beer. The Americans call them Chips. Fools. |  | | |

Yes, but with your head shaking statement about the Prince of snacks- the Hula Hoop, I think you need to take a good look at yourself. Ok, it’s not a ready salted crisp or that bag of delight the Chipstick, but if you are there on that desert island Crusoe style with Man Friday and a bag of hula hoops washes up, your day is going to be an fling good one. Especially if it’s ready salted or beef.

I can see now that to some types on here opening a packet of crisps is akin to preparing a meal.
