Chants of ‘you’re not fit to wear the shirt’. Never seen it so toxic.

Horrible.

Yeah but Donacien isn’t black so he doesn’t get the same stick that Toto does.

I’d be very surprised if it was anyone do from here. We don’t seem to attract that sort of ‘fan’.

As for people talking about which pub to go to? Football isn’t just a 90 minute game. Finding a good pub where other fans meet up and enjoy themselves is part of the match day experience.

Most away games have threads where people talk about which pub is best for away fans.

I dunno, a couple of TWTD regulars have had bans before - we're not exactly a nunnery.

What about his slow reactions that could have cleared the ball when they scored their first?

What about them? I think you might want to reread the post I was replying to as you’ve got the wrong end of the stick.

You know the gist of my post.

Something like this is a day out for many with drinking starting at midday at the latest. It's no surprise to me (or I am sure others) that after a bad performance these things happen.

Clearly not saying it was anyone from here but that conversation will have played out in many a Whatsapp group and some "fans" simply are focused more on the day than the match. These all-dayers in London tend to have issues.

7.45pm match in London and the only thing a number on here could talk about this week was which pub they were going to.

Not surprised something like this has happened to be honest given a bad performance.

So what?

People getting excited about an away game in london following lockdown.

What’s the issue?

Let's not get carried away. I don't know what was said to him or what really went on but let's not pretend it was a good performance. Completely useless on the ball and several times booted or headed it out under little pressure. Really need to upgrade on him. Daft Woolfenden isn't it really.

Too busy waving his arm around for offside for the first goal as well.

He didn't do anything wrong though. The first goal wasn't his fault. He held the line and Edmundson stepped up. Donacion was daydreaming on the far side and played them on.

Sure, he's terrible on the ball but he's a decent enough stopper and helped keep the score down.

London games, especially, seem to attract a very certain kind of fan - which is why I don't go to them. Sometimes that includes there being deals for cheaper tickets a la Bentley et al. He was certainly that kind of fan.

If you’re referring to a Lucan and RKD, they were banned for celebrating a Derby goal on the pitch.

Nothing like what has just been described.

For what it's worth, I was a few rows to the right in row d. Saw him come over, not 100% sure what was said but if it was the same as what was shouted all the others it would of been the usual 'your f$#% sh## " etc. The majority around me were not beered up, just very angry with that level of performance. As for the age thing, two 40+ males going hammer and tong with each other separated by stewards. As for us as a club, we're going nowhere this season.

Scum. Hopefully will get long bans and fines for invading the pitch. The one assaulting Walton needs more than a fine. Unacceptable.

And what a great way to get two committed players wanting to keep giving their all...

And when Walton saved that shot for the first goal ask yourself why Toto who was closest to the ball didn’t just clear it? Too slow to react and get there

He also did little right. That defence today was a shambles. Time for 3 at the back no Donacien or Toto in the lineup please.

Stop blaming the defence.

Any team that can’t retain possession of the ball for longer than 5 seconds will always put the defence under pressure.

Toto did little wrong today. As usual. He is not the problem. Troubling that certain factions still target him. Wonder why?

Absolutely moronic to storm pitch and argue with the players, will achieve nothing.

From an on the field perspective, his distribution is an issue for me. Constantly receiving the ball on the 18 yard box, ambles for a period and aimlessly punts the ball to a lone striker, it’s just madness.

The space between the lines is frightening, starting from the back line being so deep.

It looked as though that group hadn’t been coached together before.

But why no blame on kvy for not keeping with his man on the first goal.

What about the blocks Toto put in when edmundson tripped over the ball tonight.

What about the 10000 times donacien messed up tonight.

It's always Toto.

Some people haven't realised yet but Toto isn't very good.

The fact he is still in this team after all the signings is worrying.

He looks lost at times and yes he makes blocks but sometimes it's because he's not in the right position. Making loads of blocks isn't always the sign of a good defender, just one who can recover.sometimes.
