We had this a couple of months ago coming into our front room and finding them on the table etc. Got some table salt and put that into the ant nest holes and inside the house near the front door under the carpet and then poured boiling water into the outside holes. Took a few days but it actually worked. Now got some ant powder from Wilko in case it happens again, but that was a quick and easy way to deal with it at short notice. |  | | |
