haha! And when you actually did get a win, it felt like a lottery win!

Happy times. I really regret arcades in pubs going, but I spose consoles just killed them.

Thing is, I was really good at it. Not sure how. Even my parents were stunned and my mum asked once if I was stealing it. I'd go off with 1, come back and hand Dad 5, then go off again with the 1 I still had! Just had a knack I guess.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

If that had been my son at the age of 11 he would have chosen the hotel room with TV or moby every time over been dragged out into a strange town to hang out with his dad and a bunch of other pistup people.

Prosecuting the father is only going to put strain on that family unit and nobody needs that. Like you say, there must be more to this story.

Or, just maybe, as a Dad you don't go out on the p*** when you have a child in your care and you're not even at home?

No wonder parenting is going down the pan if people want to go on the booze when they have their kid with them.

My mum and dad used to take me to the pub on Sunday's and leave me in the car with a packet of crisps and a bottle of pop. TWTD.

Thinking back even earlier, the late 60's when I was 3 or 4, we'd holiday at Butlins. At night I, along with the kids of most parents there, was left in the chalet at night time. Apparently Butlins would announce over the tannoy if a child was crying and what chalet number the cries were coming from.

In the concerned interests of maintaining the TWTD record for one up man ship, in the early 1960's my Dad used to leave me in the car when he disappeared off into Palma de Mallorca for a while (the car was also parked up in Palma de Mallorca, he didn't catch a taxi to the airport and then a flight...) But one time he did take me with him and we went to this upstairs room where he collected a large parcel of black market cigarettes, the next time we went there he saw a car parked outside and told me we were going to just turn around and go back to the car.

He didn't leave the car locked but I did have instructions not to leave the car, maybe I was allowed to go off a short way and find some bushes if I needed a pee. Once he was gone so long I set off to look for him and bumped into a priest. The priest did lay his hand on my shoulder and bless me but I was in too much of a hurry and walked on. No attempt to delay me.

Being drunk in the company of children is highly frowned upon here, both in the community and by social services.

Poll: If KM goes now, will you applaud him when he returns with his new club?
